This candle has notes of Anjou Pear, Iced Raspberry, Brown Sugar, and Cedarwood, creating a unique and homey blend. The signature lustrous gold vessel also greatly reminds us of the iconic Austin Paramount Theater, a must-see place to visit. If you are visiting Austin around mid-March (March 11-20 in 2022), South by Southwest (SXSW) is definitely the event you do not want to miss. A name iconic in its own right, South by Southwest is an annual blend of film, interactive media, music festivals, and conferences. It continues to grow in its scope, size, and influence on entertainment and creative outlets. This event fosters and encourages creatives, for example, the film festival represents emerging talents from both behind and in front of the camera. With panels of speakers, performances, and viewings of films, South by Southwest continues to push boundaries and inspire inceptions of ideas. This creative synergy of ideas resonates with the unique blend of our Spiced Pear + Whiskey, ensured to keep your spirits high.
SIXTH STREET
Austin isn’t called the “Live Music Capital of the World” for nothing. The memorable Sixth Street of Austin is scattered with lively restaurants and bars as well as music venues. The bustling and bright energy of this street, truly adds to Austin’s unique vibrant environment. We love Ah Sing Den on East Sixth Street, famous for its luxurious environment, perfect for cocktails and quick bites with friends. We recommend trying the “Ume and You”, a cocktail mix of Iwai-Mars Japanese Whiskey and Umeshu, reminding us of our Spiced Pear + Whiskey candle. For a sweet treat have some gelato at Gelateria Gemelli, and be sure to try the Fernet Stracciatella flavor, as well as the Hazlenut Cookie flavor. Sixth Street is filled with so much character, representing the charismatic energy of Austin.
THE DRISKILL
Lying on Sixth Street, the Austin famous Driskill Hotel is a Texan hospitality highlight. The Romanesque-style architecture and elegant pillars really capture the luxuriousness of the hotel. Even if you don’t intend to spend a night at the Driskill, the hotel holds a lot of historical weight for the city of Austin, including the historical rumor of the hotel having supernatural activity. The Driskill Hotel is surrounded by the liveliness of Sixth Street, as well as in close proximity to the Texas State Capital Building and Congress Avenue Bridge.

Take a stroll along Austin’s Auditorium Shores, overlooking Lady Bird Lake. Filled with open space, it has become a place for unwinding relaxation, but also a hot spot for live music performances and events.
