11 Ways to Repurpose Candle Jars

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR EMPTY CANDLE VESSEL

One method to cleaning out your empty candle vessel is the freezer method! Place your candle in your freezer. The wax after sitting in the freezer will become brittle when frozen. Once the wax inside is frozen, use a knife to scrape off the leftover wax from the vessel. Take some warm water. Finally, take a towel and dry off the vessel.

Another method is to simply pour in hot, boiling water into a glass bowl, and place your candle vessel in the glass bowl. The leftover wax inside the candle will melt. Once the wax has melted, you can pour the candle wax excess out in the trash. Finally, take warm water and soap to clean the rest of the vessel out!
